Marjorie Ilcisko, 77, Enjoyed Traveling and Spending Time with Family

Mrs. Ilcisko was a born in Lorain on June 4, 1936 and was a lifelong resident of Lorain County. She was the daughter of the late Leo Kaliszewski and the late Norma Fay (nee Goldsmith) Kaliszewski Field.
She was a 1954 graduate of Clearview High School. She was a homemaker. She had worked at the former A & P Grocery, Pic-N-Pay Grocery, Avon East School, and the Billinghurst IGA.
Mrs. Ilcisko was instrumental in starting the first Brownie Troop at Avon East School in 1964. She also served as president of Avon High School Band Parents for two terms.
She enjoyed traveling, but the love of her life was spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Mrs. Ilcisko is survived by daughters Bonnie Sue (Philip) Shamblin of Rural Retreat, VA, Jean Socha of Henrietta Twp, 5 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, sisters, Georgene Kochan of Greenville, SC, Norma Jean (Kenneth) Dombroski of Strongsville, brother Leo (Loretta) Kaliszewski of Avon Lake, a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Kaliszewski of Elyria, 5 nieces and 6 nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, John Ilcisko on March 10, 1991, a brother Thomas Kaliszewski, a son-in-law David Socha and step-father Ross Field.
Friends may call on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 in the funeral home at 10:30 a.m.
Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice in Marjorie's memory.
