Irma Morales, 51, Will be Deeply Missed

Photo of Irma Morales Irma Morales, 51, of San Antonio, Texas passed away in her home surrounded by her loving family Sunday, June 30, 2013 following a battle with cancer.

Irma was born February 10, 1962 in Lorain. She graduated from Southview High School in 1981. Irma lived in San Antonio for the past Eleven years. She was employed as administrator of ISS Facility Services in San Antonio. Irma enjoyed dancing and Tejano Music. She was an avid runner, running many marathons in support of cancer research. Irma loved life, living each day to the fullest. Her final race was her race against cancer. She gave it her all, running that race hard and never complaining. Irma's life reflected her love and care for others.

She will be deeply missed by her daughter Carla I. Rios San Antonio; parents Antonio and Guillermina (née Torres) Morales of Lorain; brothers Vince (Amy) Morales of Vermilion and Greg Loera of Lorain; sisters Gabby (Ezequiel) Morales of Lorain and Vanessa (Joey) Ortiz of San Antonio; soon to be grandson Giovanni Angelo Wilson and nieces and nephews.

Irma was preceded in death by her brother Angel Morales; grandparents Vicente and Aurora Torres and Angel and Francisca Morales and a aunt Jovita Coronado.

Her family will receive friends Friday from 4 to 8 PM in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain, Ohio. Visitation will also be Saturday from 8:30 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM in Sacred Heart Chapel, 4301 Pearl Avenue, Lorain. Rev. Father William A. Thaden, Pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
