Terry L. Rosa, 54, Will be Deeply Missed

Photo of Terry L. Rosa Terry L. “Blue Star” Rosa, 54 of Oberlin, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2013 in Mercy Regional Medical Center from complications of surgery.

She was born March 22, 1959 in Columbus, Ohio. Terry moved from West Virginia to Oberlin in 2009. She was a photographer for Rufo’s Camera in Lorain and Abner’s Camera in St. Petersburg, Florida. Terry was among the first female Boxing Judges in Ohio. She loved being involved in the American Indian Movement. Her passion was her families’ wellbeing and happiness.

She will be deeply missed by her husband of 37 years Three Eagle Cloud (Hector Rosa); daughters Jackie and Lesa Rosa both of Lorain; sons Hector, II, Adam and Michael Rosa all of Lorain, Tony Rosa of Florida and Joe Rosa of Columbus; her parents Richard Dillon of Vermilion and Shirley Hill of Laurel City, Ohio; sisters Debbie, Laura and Molly; brother Jeff; 26 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Terry was preceded in death by her son Christopher Rosa and brother Bobby Dillon.

Her family will receive friends for a memorial celebration Friday from 3 to 7 PM in Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain.
