Maria Torocsik, 87, Enjoyed Family, Cooking, Gardening, and Pets
On Wednesday, August 7, 2013, our dear Mother, Maria Torocsik, joined her husband in Heaven following a short illness at the age of 87.
Maria moved from Hungary in 1956 to Lorain. She worked and retired from the former Lorain Products. She enjoyed her family, cooking, rose garden, and her little dog Toosie. She was a member of Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini Parish, Lorain.
She will be deeply missed by her son Joe; daughter Eve; brother and sister-in-law, Les and Eva and numerous nieces and nephews around the world.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years John Torocsik, in 1990 and her parents Ivandor and Maria.
Her family will receive friends Monday from 10 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM in Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini Parish Church, 2143 Homewood Drive (at Grove Ave. Rt. 57). Rev. Father John C. Retar, Pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
