Jack P. Rosso, 80, Enjoyed Woodworking and Fishing

Jack P. Rosso, age 80 of Lorain, died Sunday August 25, 2013 in Mercy New Life Hospice Center.

He was born May 7, 1933 in Lorain and remained a lifelong resident.

Jack retired from BF Goodrich Chemical Plant in Avon Lake after many years. He belongs to St. Mary Church in Lorain, was a member of the Army National Guard, the American Legion Post 118 in Amherst, and the I.A.V. in Lorain. He enjoyed his family, gardening, woodworking, and fishing.

Jack is survived by his wife of 57 years, Noreene (nee Lenzen), children Ray Rosso of Covina, CA, Greg (Wendy) Rosso of Amherst, Ellen (T.J.) Kruse of Toledo, Maureen Rosso of Lorain, and Jack Rosso of North Royalton, along with 9 grandchildren, and brothers Fred (Pat) and David Rosso of Lorain.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Marie Rosso, and a sister Delores Lyons.

Friends may call Thursday from 4 pm to 8 pm at Reichlin-Cooley Funeral Home, 2920 Broadway, Lorain. Funeral services will be Friday August 30th beginning with prayers in the funeral home at 9:30 am followed by Mass of Christian burial at 10 am in St. Mary Church. Fr. Daniel Divis will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
