Glen L. Rehoreg, 64, U.S. Army Veteran

Glen L. Rehoreg, 64, of Elyria passed away on September 11, 2013 at his home following a brief illness.

Mr. Rehoreg was born in Lorain on August 29, 1949, the son of the late Louis J. and Betty Ann (nee Zimmerman) Rehoreg. He was a graduate of Clearview High School, Class of 1968.

He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He earned the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal.

Mr. Rehoreg had worked as as crane operator at US Steel Lorain, was a volunteer fireman with Sheffield Township Fire Department and a EMT with the former Majoras Ambulance Service.

He enjoyed watching NASCAR races and loved all sports but especially the Cleveland Indians.

Mr. Rehoreg is survived by sisters, Nancy L Maddock of Columbia Station, Annette (Bernard) Zientarski, of Vermilion, brother William A. Rehoreg of Lorain, and several other loving relatives.

Graveside services were held on Monday, September 23, 2012 at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman with full military honors.

The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 7020 A.C. Skinner Parkway Suite 100 Jacksonville, FL 32256.
