Evelyn M. Cuthbertson, 68, Enjoyed Quilting and Bingo
Evelyn M. Cuthbertson, 68, (nee Beachler) of Sheffield Lake passed away on Monday, September 16, 2013 at Mercy-New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph following a brief illness.
Mrs. Cuthbertson was born in Lorain on April 21, 1945, the daughter of the late Amos H. and Virginia (nee Thomas) Beachler.
She attended Fellowship Baptist Church in Lorain.
Mrs. Cuthbertson was a homemaker and had worked as a cashier for the Vermilion Farm Market.
She enjoyed quilting, bingo, dinner with friends, Facebook, and loved to write letters.
Mrs. Cuthbertson is survived by son Matthew (Janie Smith) Smith Kreager of Sheffield Lake; grandchildren Matthew Smith of New Orleans, LA, Scott (Jennifer) Smith of Sheffield Lake, great grandchildren, Joshua, Haileigh, Aydan, sister Patricia (Gary) Garner of Lorain, and a brother Henry (Karen) Beachler of Lorain.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands Robert N. Smith, Jr. in 1998, John D. Cuthbertson in 2012 and a brother George Russell Beachler.
Friends may call on Friday, September 20, 2013 from 2:00 - services at 4:00 p.m.. in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, Ohio 44052. The Rev. Jack Ison will officiate.
