Helen M. Simo, OH, Enjoyed Camping and Fishing

She was born February 22, 1923 in Phoenixville, PA and had been a Lorain area resident most of her life.

Helen worked as a Sales Clerk at Ontario Department Store in Lorain retiring in 1986. During World War II, she worked at National Tube in Lorain.

Helen was active outdoors with her family and enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening and traveling. She was a member of the Lorain Garden Club and was an avid Cleveland Indians fan.

She is survived by her daughters Susan Morgan (John) of Westlake, Sally Diederich (Larry) of North Ridgeville with whom she made her home and Laura Simo of Avon and grandchildren Dr. Eric Morgan of Green Bay, WI and Sarah Morgan of Lakewood. She was preceded in death by her husband Anthony Simo, son Steven Simo, parents Stefan & Marie Fidyk (nee Byndas) and brother Joseph Fidyk.

Private family services will be held with burial in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain.
