John J. Scarvelli, Sr., 82, Enjoyed Woodworking

He was born in Cleveland on July 3, 1931 and had been a long-time resident of Sheffield Lake.
John was employed as an installer for Firelands Floors for over forty-two years. In his free time he enjoyed woodworking.
Survivors include sons John J. Scarvelli, Jr. and Dan both of Lorain, Jim of Elyria, Tim of Avon, Kert of Sheffield Lake, and David of Vermilion, daughters Betty of Lorain and Diane of North Ridgeville, along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Nora E. (nee Litz) in 2009, by his parents, five brothers, and two sisters.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday November 27th, in Calvary Cemetery. The Reverend Stephen Shields, pastor of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church will officiate.
