Mary I. Kramer, 87, Enjoyed Crafts

Mary was born in Lorain on April 9, 1926 and had been a resident of Lorain and Amherst for the majority of her life.
She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Amherst and had been a former parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church and the Church of St. Peter both in Lorain. She had also served as the Sacristan at St. Peter for fifteen years.
In her free time Mary enjoyed all forms of crafts with a specific fondness for rubber stamping. She also enjoyed camping.
Mrs. Kramer is survived by her sons Dennis (Diane) Kramer of Troy Michigan, and Dale (Philomena) Kramer residing in Downey, California, by her daughters Sr. Mary Jennifer Kramer, S.N.D., (formerly Marlene Kramer) residing in Chardon, and Cheryl (Steven) Dahle of Sheboygan, Wisconsin. In addition, she leaves ten grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Walter in 1994, by her parents Blaz and Katherine (nee Furjanic) Mihalic, by brothers Robert, Lawrence, and Joseph, and by sisters Anne Brindza, Barbara Ellis, and Catherine Smith.
Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Avenue Lorain. Funeral services will be Saturday beginning at 9:15 a.m. in the funeral chapel; a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 200 St. Joseph Drive, Amherst. Reverend Lawrence N. Martello will serve as the main celebrant with Revered Michael G. Woost serving as concelebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
