Mary Ann Seskar, 80, Enjoyed Traveling, Photography, and Building Furniture

Lorain: Mary Ann “Mimi” Seskar, 80, of Lorain, died Saturday June 8, 2013at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain.

She was born April 19, 1933 in Lorain and had been a lifelong Lorain area resident.

Mary Ann graduated from St. Mary High School in Lorain in 1951. She worked at Lorain Products for 30 years retiring in 1998.

She was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Lorain and the former Ss Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Lorain.

Mary Ann enjoyed traveling, photography and building miniature doll houses and furniture.

She is survived by her brother Frank Seskar of Lorain, sister Louise Donat of Lorain and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews, all who knew her as “Aunt Mimi”. She also leaves behind her faithful companion, her beagle Corky. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Louise Seskar (nee Zaletel), sister Dorothy Concheck, brothers Joseph and Edward Seskar and nephew Stephen J. Donat.

The family will receive friends Tuesday 6-8 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain and on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of the mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 2143 Homewood Dr, Lorain. (Please meet at the church). The Rev. John Retar, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
