Linda L. Sanborn, 66, Well Known for Growing Beautiful Roses

Ms. Sanborn was born in Lorain on September 27, 1947, the daughter of the late Robert E. Sanborn and Lois A (nee Mally) Sanborn, of Lorain, who survives.
She was a graduate of Lorain High School in the Class of 1965. She worked as a county employee at Lorain County Courthouse in Elyria for 15 years; retiring in 2011. She had previously been employed at the Brown Derby Restaurant, DeLuca's and the Elks Club.
Ms. Sanborn loved animals, especially her dogs, and was well known for growing beautiful roses.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by brothers, David (Barbara) Sanborn of Lorain, Randy Sanborn, of Cary, NC, several nieces, nephews and many close and loving friends: especially Pat & Chuck, Tish and John.
A Celebration of Her Life will be held Saturday, January 25, 2014 from 10:00 am until closing prayers at 12:30 p.m. in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, Ohio 44052.
The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to Safe Harbor Animal Rescue, 9516 Darrow Road, Vermilion, Ohio 44089.
