Diane J. Sams, age 64 and a resident of Wellington for the past 7 years, died Monday January 27, 2014 in Cleveland MetroHealth Medical Center. She was born October 23, 1949 in Lorain and resided there most of her life.
Diane enjoyed bowling, reading and bingo.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years Donald, her children JoAnn (Allen) Larew of Marietta, OH, Teresa (Donald) Swanson of Norwalk, OH, Ida (Wilfredo) Osorio of Lorain, Melinda (Marcus) Hartley of Amanda, OH, Donald (Cindy) Sams of Lorain, Sherry (Tom) Schnell of Columbia Station, and Jason Sams of Sheffield Village, along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Cyril and Elsie Borer, sisters Donna Rhineberger, Janet Nemeth, and two infant sisters.
Friends may call Friday from 4 PM till 8 PM at Reichlin-Cooley Funeral Home, 2920 Broadway, Lorain. Funeral services will take place Saturday February 1st at 11 AM in the funeral home. Deacon John Slatcoff will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
