Lucille L. Waldecki, Enjoyed gardening and travel

Lucille was employed as a production assistant for Lorain Products, retiring in 1982. She was a life-long parishioner of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Lorain. She was also a member of the Lorain Senior Center, Young Golden Agers, and the P.L.A.V. Drill Team. In her free time she enjoyed gardening and travel.
Lucille was predeceased by her husband Frank S. Waldecki, by her parents Ignatius and Wanda (nee Habant), by brothers Edward and John Leshinski, and by sisters Virginia Kudlo, Frances Brumback, Irene Racz, Marian Hughes, and Theresa Sorok.
She is survived by brothers Stanley, Allen, and Frank Leshinski, along with sisters Dorothy Majer, Florence Horinek, and Marcella Grumbos.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5 until 8 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Avenue, Lorain. Funeral services will be Monday beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral chapel; a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. in Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 1454 Lexington Avenue with the Reverend Robert Glepko, Pastor of the parish officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
Memorials suggested to either Nativity B.V.M. Catholic Church or a charity of the donor’s choice.
