Robert U. Ludwig, 85, Enjoyed Woodworking and Gardening

He was born March 30, 1928 in Lorain, and was a lifelong resident.
He retired as a senior Lab Technician at BF Goodrich Tech Center in Avon Lake in 1990 after 39 years. While there he helped develop two patents.
Robert was a parishioner of the Church of St. Peter in Lorain. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening.
He is survived by his wife Mary Ann (nee Teleha) of whom he was married 62 years, daughters Anthea (Michael) Simpson of Vermilion, Kateri (Jeffrey) Vaughan of Sandusky, Clare (Dennis) Gnage of Sandusky, and a son Gregory (Linda) Ludwig of Sheffield Village, grandchildren Manda (Rob) Bennett, Melanie (Jamie) Campbell, Eric and Jared Vaughan, and Benjamin Gnage, along with great-grandchildren Isabel, Olivia, and Samuel Bennett, and Raymond Campbell, and brothers Donald and Gerald Ludwig.
He was preceded in death by a daughter Roberta (Bobbi) Ludwig in 2008, a sister Gayle Zadorozny, and parents Urban and Dorothy Ludwig.
Friends may call Wednesday from 4PM to 8PM at Reichlin-Cooley Funeral Home 2920 Broadway, Lorain. Funeral services will be Thursday beginning with prayers at 10:30 AM in the funeral home followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in the Church of St. Peter. Fr. Gerald Keller will officiate.
