Mildred Gresko, 91, Retired from Lorain Products in 1988

She was born September 4, 1922 in Lorain and had been a lifelong Lorain area resident. For the past 5 years, she lived with her niece Susan Sulzer in Westlake.

Mildred graduated from Lorain High School and worked as an assembler at Lorain Products retiring in 1988.

She was a life member of St Peter and Paul Lutheran Church in Sheffield Township. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, word search and watching the Lawrence Welk Show, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.

She is survived by her niece Susan Sulzer of Westlake, great nieces and nephews Kate (Horst) Sulzbach of Germany, David (Amrita) Sulzer of Cincinnati, Danielle Sulzer of Westlake and Andrew (Melissa) Sulzer of Houston, TX, 1 great great nephew and 5 great great nieces. She was preceded in death by her parent Jan and Zuzanna Gresko (nee Pajer) and sisters Suzanna Ciesok, Margaret Benedik and Eleanor Petrick.

The family will receive friends Friday 4-7 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain. Additional viewing hours will be held Saturday from 10:30 am until the time of funeral services at 11:00 am at Ss Peter & Paul Lutheran Church, 1500 Lincoln Blvd., Sheffield Twp. The Rev. Edgar Anthony, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Lorain.

The family would like to thank the nurses in the intensive care unit at St. John Medical Center in Westlake for the care they showed Mildred during her stay.
