Robin L. Cawrse, 84, U.S. Army Veteran
He was born in Lakewood and had been a resident of Elyria since 1987. Robin served in the US Army during the Korean War.
He worked at Cloverdale Dairies of Lorain, then went on to work as an insurance agent for Prudential for 20 years, retiring in 1984.
He was a member of College Heights Baptist Church in Elyria.
He enjoyed being with family, traveling, reading the Bible, college and professional sports, bowling, playing Pool and cards.
He loved his children and grandchildren and he loved the Lord.
Survivors include his wife, Ina F. Cawrse (nee Phares); his best friend and companion, Daisy; sons, Phillip Cawrse, Robert Thomas; daughters, Melody Johnson, Sandra Gove, Kathleen Long, Robin Richardson, Linda Rivera; step-daughters, Christine Baker, Tshona Rizzo; step-sons, Charles, Rodney and Eric Palmer; 20 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; 4 great-great-step-grandchildren and his sister, Diane Miller.
He was preceded in death by parents, Marvin and Lucille Cawrse; wives, Janet (nee Louise Cawrse (nee Calta) and Janet Cawrse (nee White); daughter, Sharon Wycoff.
Friends may call Monday from 5-8PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville and Tuesday from 10 AM until the time of services at 11 AM. Pastor Darrell Deer will officiate. Full Military Honors will be conducted by VFW Post 9871, North Ridgeville at the funeral home.
Private burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
