Carmela Napoli, 70, Loved Cooking and Gardening

She was born August 15, 1943 to Giuseppina and Antonio Lanza in Militello Rosmarino on the Italian island of Sicily and had resided in Lorain since 1956.
Carmela loved cooking, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons Philip (Gina) Napoli of Wheaton, IL and Salvatore (Lynn) Napoli of Middleburg Heights, grandchildren Alessandra and Francesca Napoli, both of Wheaton, IL and Samantha Napoli of Westlake, brother Biagio Lanza of Priolo Gargallo, Sicily and sister Rosina Lanza of Rome, Italy
She was preceded in death by her husband Salvatore Napoli on April 21, 2010.
The family will receive friends Thursday 6-8 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain. Funeral services will be held Friday at 8:30am in the funeral chapel followed by the mass of Christian Burial at 9am at the Church of St. Peter, 3501 Oberlin Ave, Lorain. The Rev. Craig Hovanec, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
