Robert W. and Patricia A. Morris, 64 & 67, Will be Dearly Missed

Mr. Morris passed away while in the care of the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center in Cleveland and Mrs. Morris was being cared for by Mercy New Life Hospice in Lorain.
Robert was born in Lorain on October 23, 1949 the son of the late Woodrow R. and Marion L. (nee Thompson) Morris. Patricia was born in Lorain on November 5, 1946 the daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth (nee Uhlein) Rounds. They were graduates of Lorain High School and Admiral King High School.
He was a veteran of the US Army during the Vietnam War. Robert worked on the assembly line at Ford in Lorain for 30 years. Also working at Ford, She worked as a paint sprayer in Lorain for 27 years, both retiring in the mid 1990's.
Robert was a practical joker, loved sports especially the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians, enjoyed watching old movies and gambling. He will best be remembered as a very kind and likable person. Pat was dedicated to her church and was very active in the church activities. She especially liked making chocolate Easter eggs with the ladies of her church. She volunteered with United Way, Hands Across America, enjoyed crafting-crocheting, knitting, ceramics, oil and watercolor painting. She was a member of the Women's UAW Committee and was a licensed beautician.
They are survived by daughters Michelle A. (Gregory) Wooledge of Lorain, Leslie M. (Timothy) Williams of Hamstead, NC, sons Terry L. Morris of Lorain, Michael J Morris of Waterloo, Iowa, 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Robert is also survived by sister Janet (Kenneth) Kamholtz of Sheffield Lake, half sisters, Barbara (Earl) Fitzgerald of Hagerstown, MD and Sonya Meldron of Hagerstown, MD. Patricia is also survived by brothers Dean (Sherri) Rounds of Lorain, Douglas (Joann) Rounds of Traverse City, MI. Both are survived by a host of nieces, nephews and other loving family members.
In addition to their parents, Robert was preceded in death by brothers Jackie Morris, Dwight H Morris, a half brother Woodrow Morris, Jr. and Patricia was preceded in death by a brother Dan Rounds.
A Joint Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Sheffield Church of God, 2280 N. Abbe Road, Sheffield, with Rev. Scott Skeens and Rev. Harold Hylton officiating.
Mr. Morris will be buried with full military honors at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road in Rittman at a later date and Mrs. Morris burial will be held privately.
The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to Friendship Animal Protective League, 8303 Murray Ridge Road, Elyria, Ohio 44035 for either of them or National Vietnam Veterans Foundation, 1919 NE 45th Street, Suite 223, Fort Lauderdale FL. 33308 in Robert's memory.
