Tammie Renae Olsen, 51, Will be Deeply Missed

Photo of Tammie Renae Olsen Tammie was given the gift of life on March 28, 1963. She had to return that gift on April 8, 2014.

She is survived by her soul mate, high school sweetheart, and husband of 28 years, David L. Olsen, a son she was very proud of, David J. Olsen (Lindsay), and her two beautiful grandsons, Dominic and Maxim, a daughter she treasured, Brandy N. Olsen, a champion of a mother, Carol Trubach, a brother she admired, Johnny R. Trubach (Dawn), niece Sonsee, and nephew Johnny, and a loving mother and father-in-law, Elaine and Armond Olsen.

Tammie was preceded in death by her father, her rock, John O. Trubach.

Tammie was the heart and soul of a circle of lifelong friends. They have no idea how they will go on without her. She was fierce, unafraid, and the best of them all. There will be a huge void in the lives of her aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will all miss her terribly, but will know that she loved each of them with all her heart.

Tammie had a few careers throughout her life – some of which included childcare and owning her own business. Tammie not only made friends, but lifelong friends, wherever she went. She had a no-nonsense philosophy with an “it is what it is” attitude that allowed her to plow through life’s struggles.

A private celebration of Tammie’s life will be held for friends and family.

Memorials may be made in her memory to Hospice of the Western Reserve, Contributions, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44110.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, Lorain.
