Carole J. Enzor, 89, Enjoyed Cooking & Crafting

Photo of Carole J. Enzor Carole J. Enzor, 89, (nee Gannan) passed away Friday, April 18, 2014 at the Mercy New Life Hospice following a long illness.

Mrs. Enzor was born in Ashland on February 23, 1925, the daughter of the late Peter B. and Charlotte "Lottie" (nee Reep) Gannon. She was a graduate of Ashland High School in the class of 1941.

She worked as a dietitian at Stouffer's Restaurant for 25 years and then was co-owner of the Carole-Sue Galley in Lorain.

Mrs. Enzor was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary #397, served as president for many years, American Legion Auxiliary-Fifth District President from 1974-1976 and served as laision between State American Legion and the Ohio Veterans Home. She also was a member of the Erie County Eight & Forty.

She was active in the Lorain Senior Center, serving as president and chairman of board and cooked for noon meals at Senior center. She enjoyed cooking, creating flower arrangements and crafting.

Mrs. Enzor is survived by her husband of 56 years, Robert Enzor sons Peter D. (Susan) Enzor of Amherst, Keith A (Wertly) Enzor of Wheaton, Maryland, 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, aunt and friend to many.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a infant sister and a brother, Robert Gannon.

Friends may call on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 from 4-8 p.m. and Thursday, April 24, 2014 from 9:30 - 10:30 am at Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain.

Funeral Services will be on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 10:30 am in the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Bradley J. Donahue officiating.

Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Garden, in Avon, OH.

The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to American Legion Auxiliary Unit 397, 2713 State Route 60, Vermilion, OH 44089.
