Margarita Rodriguez, 67, Will be Deeply Missed
Margarita Rodriguez (née Claudio), 67 of Lorain, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, April 24, 2014 in University Hospital, Cleveland following a lengthy illness.
She was born February 22, 1947 in Caguas, Puerto Rico. Margarita came to Lorain from Bronx, New York in 1978.
Margarita was a member of the Iglesia Pentecostal Cristo Missionera Church, Lorain. She was a loving wife and great grandmother. Margarita loved and praised the Lord.
She will be deeply missed by her husband of 8 years Reverend Ruben Rodriguez of Lorain; sons Johnny Cruz of Cleveland and Miguel Vazquez of Elyria; daughter Lisbette Gnizak of Lorain; brothers Angel Luis Claudio of Buffalo, New York, Roberto Claudio of Reading, Pennsylvania, Jaime, Pedro and Candido Claudio all of Caguas Puerto Rico, Jose Ernesto, Jose Antonio, Alfredo and Victor Claudio all of Lorain; sisters Carmen and Francesca of Lorain and Rosa Rivera of Lorain; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Margarita was preceded in death by her parents Bartolo Claudio and Angela Roldan; sister Maria Rodriguez and a brother Pedro Claudio.
Her family will receive friends Sunday from 4 to 6 PM with a celebration of her life service to begin at 6pm at Iglesia Pentecostal Cristo Missionera Church, 1930 Broadway, Lorain. The funeral service will be held Monday at 10:00 AM in the church as well. Her husband, Reverend Ruben Rodriguez, Pastor will be officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
