Mary Ann Kutting, 79, Enjoyed Bus Trips to Casinos

Photo of Mary Ann Kutting Mary Ann Kutting (nee Dziak), age 79 of Lorain, died Friday April 25, 2014 at Mercy Regional Medical Center following a battle with cancer and pneumonia comforted by her husband, son and sister-in-law.

She was born January 20, 1935 in Lorain and remained a lifelong resident. She was a 1953 graduate of Clearview High School.

Mary Ann was employed by A&P and then Fligners Supermarket for more than 30 years before retiring.

She was a member of the Church of St. Peter in Lorain.

Mary Ann loved to stay busy by attending monthly Club, with her “Pinochle Girls”, and also her cousin’s brunch, and enjoyed going on bus trips to different casinos to gamble.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-nine years, Ronald, along with a son Dale and his wife Susan of Lorain, her grandchildren Chad Kutting and his wife Lauren of Campbell, CA, and Kari Cooley and her husband Mason of Lorain, great grandchildren Jacqueline Kutting and Callen Cooley, and brother Richard Dziak and his wife Donna of Vermilion, and a sister-in-law Carole Dziak of Amherst.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Hattie (Mielcarek) Dziak, a brother Joseph “BoBo” Dziak in 2009 and a sister Delores Hayden in 2000.

Friends may call Monday from 4 pm – 8 pm in Reichlin-Cooley Funeral Home, 2920 Broadway, Lorain. Funeral services will be Tuesday April 29, 2014 beginning with prayers at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by 10 am Mass at the Church of St. Peter. Fr. Craig Hovanec will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
