Florence (Zlotnicki) Springer, 94, Avid Cook
Florence Springer (nee Zlotnicki), died at the age of 94, Sunday, April 27, 2014 at the New Life Hospice Center, Lorain.
Florence was an avid cook and devoted all her time to raising her family including her adopted and extended family members that she took in from time to time to counsel or just have over for coffee and a meal.
She leaves behind her son, Michael and his wife Vicki, also of Lorain; her two grandchildren, Darrell Springer, wife Susan from Mentor; and her granddaughter, Susan Buttermore and husband Frank of Howell, Michigan; also great grandchildren Savannah and Tyler Springer of Franklin, Texas and Archie Springer of Mentor; and a great great grandson Braxton Burgess.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve; and her daughter, Annie; sisters, Henrietta Marinik and Adele Hyde; and parents, Sabina and Henry Zlotnicki.
The funeral service will be Friday, May 2, 2014 at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish, 418 West 15th St., Lorain, where the family will receive guests at 11 A.M. until the Mass starts at 12 Noon. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
