Kosta Vasilevski, 81, Loving Father & Grandfather

Photo of Kosta Vasilevski Kosta Vasilevski, 81, of Lorain, fell asleep in the Lord Wednesday, May 21, 2014 in his home following a lengthy illness.

He was born March 30, 1932 in Nakolec, Macedonia. He Immigrated to Lorain in 1971.

Mr. Vasilevski retired in 1983 as a tow motor operator for Foseco Metallurgical Inc. in Brookpark. He worked there for 22 Years.

Kosta was a member of Saint Clement of Ohrid Macedonian Orthodox Church in Avon. He enjoyed working in his garden and making wine. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 59 years Nadezda (née Naumovski) Vasilevski of Lorain; dear daughter Jovanka (Kire) Stevoff of Elyria; grandsons Kilment (Stephany) Stevoff of Lakewood, Stefche Stevoff and David Stevoff both of Elyria; and a sister Luba Naumovski of Macedonia

He was preceded in death by his parents Cvetko and Anastasia (née Mircevski) Vasilevski; brothers Spiro Vasilevski and Vlade Vasilevski and sisters Menka Jovanovski and Veleka Mondovski.

His family will receive friends Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain, where a Parastas will be Friday at 6:30 PM in the funeral home. Funeral service will be Saturday 9:15 AM in the funeral home followed by 10:00 service in St. Clement of Ohrid Macedonian Orthodox Church, 38665 French Creek Road, Avon. Very Reverend Father Vasil Manasiev, Pastor will officiate. Burial will follow Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
