William Roldan, 51, Loving & caring man who put family first

Photo of William Roldan William "Willie" Roldan, 51 years of age and a lifelong resident of Lorain, was surrounded by his loving family, who peacefully departed to join his celestial family on Friday, May 23, 2014 to join those who had gone before him.

Born, January 24, 1963 William was a self-employed basement water proofer and held other jobs. He was a loving and caring, son, brother, husband, companion, uncle, grandfather and friend, who’s family was always first. Willie loved spending time with his family. His biggest joy in his life was his precious granddaughter Trinity. Willie was a guardian angel and soul-mate to some. He also had his moments of being a jokester. He was a hard worker at everything he did. If anyone needed a helping hand he wouldn’t give them one, he’d give two, with no hesitations or excuses. Willie attended Lorain City Schools and Sacred Heart Chapel in Lorain.

He will be deeply missed because he was dearly loved by his wife of 13 years Madelyn (nee Rivas) Roldan; companion of 20 years Judith Velez of Lorain; son William Roldan Jr. of Lorain; daughter Madelee L. Roldan of Lorain; father Ceferino Roldan of Lorain; granddaughter Trinity J. Ferguson of Lorain; brothers Edwin Roldan of Honolulu, Hawaii, George (Andrea) Roldan, Carmelo (Elizabeth) Roldan and Felix Roldan all of Lorain; sister Evelyn (Hector) Garcia of Lorain; 4 nephews; 4 nieces and 1 great niece.

Willie was preceded in death by his mother Regina (nee Crespo) Roldan March 19, 2008.

The Roldan family would like to express their thanks to Mercy New Life Hospice for the excellent care Willie received while he was there.
