Rose Ann L. Jerrome, 85, Loving Grandmother and Great-Grandmother

Photo of Rose Ann L. Jerrome Rose Ann L. Jerrome (nee Kaiser), 85, of Lorain, died Friday June 20, 2014 at Mercy New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph in Lorain after a brief illness.

She was born October 8, 1928 in Parkersburg, West Virginia and had resided in Lorain since 1972. For the past 4 years, Rose Ann was a resident at Anchor Lodge Assisted Living Center in Lorain.

Rose Ann graduated from Wheeling High School in Wheeling, West Virginia. She was a member of Lighthouse United Methodist Church in Lorain. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed ceramics and baking.

She is survived by her children Dorothy Ann Kitchen (David) of Lorain, Sue Wyszynski of Solon, Stephen Curtis Jerrome (Deborah) of Grafton, twin children Scott Joseph Jerrome (Daria) of Pickerington and Shelia Davies (fiancé Chris Marshall) of Lakewood, grandchildren Kevin E. Kitchen, Jennifer King, Daria Cayne, Alexis Suter, Katherine Jerrome, Carli Wysznski, Larissa Jerrome, Curtis Davies, Matthew Jerrome and Sonya Jerrome, great grandchildren McKenzie King, Regan King, Brayden Kitchen, Delaney Kitchen, Camryn Cayne, Rosalee Kitchen, Wesley Cayne and Connor Jerrome, sister Marlene Culp of Wheeling, WV and brother Tom Kaiser (Kim) of Wichita, KA.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph S. Jerrome in 2011, son Jerry Hinton in 1980, parents Henry and Dorothy Kaiser (nee Nicholas), granddaughter Kristin Wyszynski, son-in-law Tom Wyszynski and brother Bob Kaiser.

The family will receive friends Monday 4-8 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain. Additional visiting will be held Tuesday from 10:00 am until the time of funeral services at 11:00 am at Lighthouse United Methodist Church, 3015 Meister Rd, Lorain. The Rev. Greg Sellers, pastor, will officiate. Burial services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 pm in the mausoleum at Halcyon Hills Memorial Gardens, 1117 Fairmont Pike, Wheeling, WV.
