Lisa Borsos, 52, Talented Artist

She was born December 28, 1961 in Lorain. Lisa attended St. John School and graduated from Southview High School in 1979. After graduation she studied for a career in Art at Fullerton College in California. She returned to Lorain from California in 2003. Lisa had been a resident of Amherst for the past 11 years.

Lisa was a very creative and talented artist. She enjoyed decorating. Lisa was a loving and devoted mother.

She will be deeply missed by her sons Steven and Joseph Arellanes both of Amherst; her father Joseph R. Horvath of Amherst; her mother Anna Mae Borsos of Lorain; sisters Kathleen Janda and her husband Robert Page of Lorain and Annette Kunakowsky and her husband Victor of Amherst and by nephews William Janda Jr. and Andrei Kunakowsky and niece Jamie Janda.

Lisa was preceded in death by her father Daniel Borsos in 2008.

Her family will receive friends Saturday, June 28, from 9 AM until time of her funeral at 11 AM in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain. Rev. Father John C. Retar, Pastor of St. Frances Cabrini Parish, Lorain will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
