Joanne Feicks, 63, Loving Grandmother
Joanne Feicks, 63, (nee Wright) passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at the Mercy New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph following a short illness.
Mrs. Feicks was born in Virginia Beach, VA on August 30, 1950, the daughter of the late Charles W. and Thelma I. (nee Perry) Wright.
She was retired from the paint department at Ford Motor Co in Avon Lake, in 2006 following 10 years service. She had also worked for Manco for 10 years. She enjoyed shopping, traveling, casinos and especially spending time with her grandchildren
Mrs. Feicks is survived by her husband of 42 years William "Bill" Feicks, daughter Suzanne Feicks of Lorain, sons Keith (Hope) Feicks of Bay Village, Justin (Veronica) Feicks of Lorain, grandchildren: Julia Feicks, Jason Barnicle, Claudia Feicks, Shelby Barnicle, Skyler Barnicle, Jacob Feicks, Alexa Feicks, sisters, Micki (Rex) Patterson of Bowling Green, KY, Debbie (Pat) Laughlin of Dayton, Brenda Noonan, of Commerce, GA, and a brother Charles Wright also of Commerce, GA.
In addition to her parents she was preceeded in death by her sister Faye Yule.
Friends may call on Saturday, June 28, 2014 from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m.in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain.
A Celebration of Her Life will be held on Sunday at Noon in the funeral home.
