Anne Vukelich, 90, Member of Croatian Club and Croatian Fraternal Union who loved to travel.

Photo of Anne Vukelich Anne G. Vukelich (nee Kostelich), 90, of Lorain, died Wednesday July 16, 2014 at Amherst Manor Nursing Home after a brief illness.

She was born September 27, 1923 in Lorain and had been a lifelong Lorain area resident.

Anne worked at Lorain Products and retired in 1985. She was a member of the Church of St. Peter, the Croatian Club and the Croatian Fraternal Union.

Anne enjoyed traveling with her siblings and their families to Myrtle Beach, traveling to visit her brother in North Carolina, bus trips around Ohio and trips to Las Vegas. She enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians, reading and bingo.

She is survived by her daughter Mary Ann (James) Campana, stepgrandchildren Toni (Scott) Shanahan, Robert Campana and Baldo (Jennifer) Campana and step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Mildred Kostelich (nee Rendulich), sister Mary Kowalski and brother John Kostelich.

The family will receive friends Saturday 10:00 am – 11:00 am at the Church of St .Peter, 3501 Oberlin Ave, Lorain. The mass of Christian Burial will begin Saturday at 11:00 am in the church. The Rev. Craig Hovanec, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.

During Anne’s stay at Amherst Manor Nursing Home, she made many friends and enjoyed their company. Her family would like donations to be made in her memory to the Activities Fund at Amherst Manor Nursing Home, 175 N. Lake St, Amherst, OH. 44001.
