Elizabeth Dawley, 96, Loving Mother & Grandmother

Photo of Elizabeth Dawley Elizabeth Barbara Dawley, 96, (nee Angersbach) of Elyria formerly of Lorain passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at the University Hospitals-Elyria Campus following a short illness.
Mrs. Dawley was born in Henrietta Township, OH, on February 15, 1918, the daughter of the late Roy R. and Flossie (nee Bechtel) Angersbach. She was a graduate of Brownhelm High School, Class of 1936, a homemaker and employed by Dillard’s until her retirement.
She was a member of Lakeland Woman's Club and the Christian Women's Fellowship.
Mrs. Dawley is survived by a daughter Suzanne Turner of Bloomingburg, son Gary (Judith) Dawley of Alpena, MI, grandchildren Lori (Tim) Moore, Bradley (Deborah) Turner, Meaghan (Ed) Black, Wynne (Steve) Tezak, great grandchildren Hunter & Taylor Moore, Emily & Lizzie Turner, Cooper, Andrew and Emily Black, Brogan and Cullen Tezak, sisters Ruth Will of Vermilion, Margy Millis of Vermilion, Jean (Jim) Nickols of Berlin Heights, and Wilma Krieg of South Amherst.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Phillip P. Dawley in 2006.
Friends may call on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 from 10:00 am until 12:30 pm in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain. Graveside services will follow at 1:00 pm in the Ridge Hill Memorial Park, 44805 North Ridge Road, Amherst Township.
A Memorial Service will then be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 in the Chapel at the Wesleyan Village, 803 West Ave., Elyria. Chaplain Beth McKee will officiate.
The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the Charity of their choice.
