Adam Schildwachter, 71, Grandfather who loved country music
Adam J. Schildwachter, age 71 of Lorain, died Saturday July 26, 2014 in Lake Pointe Health Center.He was born March 14, 1943 in Lorain, and remained a lifelong resident.
Adam attended St. Vincent de Paul School as a youngster, and recently had been attending St. Mary Church in Lorain. He enjoyed reading the Bible, and listening to county music.
Adam is survived by daughters Stella Schildwachter of Lorain, and Norma Jean Bird of Warren, OH, grandchildren Isaiah Schildwachter, and Jevon and Jayla Richards, a cousin Jean Ackerman of Sheffield Village, and special friend Steve Rico.
He was preceded in death by his father Adam Schildwachter in 1943, mother Helen Chapman in 2004, and step-father Paul Chapman in 1962.
Memorial Mass will be Saturday August 16, 2014 at 10 a.m. in St. Mary Church, Lorain. Fr. Daniel Divis will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in Elmwood Cemetery.
