Sandra Clark, 75, Former secretary with Lorain City Schools and beloved mother

She was born June 20, 1939 in Lorain and had been a lifelong Lorain area resident.
Sandra graduated from Lorain High School in 1957 and attended Heidelberg University in Tiffin.
She worked as an Assistant Society Editor at the Lorain Journal. Later, she worked as a secretary with Lorain city schools retiring from Meister Road Elementary School after 35 years of service.
Sandra was a member and the first president of Meister Road School Harmony PTA; former Sunday school teacher and Sunday School Supervisor of the Hungarian Reformed United Church of Christ in Lorain where she was a member and a member of the Lakeland Women’s Club.
Sandra enjoyed sewing, woodworking, gardening, ceramics and reading.
She is survived by her daughters Cynthia M. Bryda and her husband James and Amy-Jo West and her husband Anthony, grandsons Adam and Michael Bryda and Steven West and nephew Kenneth W. Boros. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Ethel Litkovitz (nee Kovacs) and sister Delores Litkovitz.
The family will receive friends Wednesday 3-9 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain where prayer services will be held Wednesday at 8:30 pm. Additional viewing hours will be held Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of funeral services at 11:00 am at Hungarian Reformed United Church of Christ, 1691 E. 31st St, Lorain. The Rev. Peter Toth, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township.
