Anita L. Meyer, 52, Enjoyed Gardening & Arranging Flowers
Anita L. Meyer, 52, of Lorain, died Friday August 15, 2014 in the intensive care unit at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain.
Anita was born March 6, 1962 in the Camp Lejeune Naval Hospital at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina and had resided in the Lorain are most of her life. She graduated from Marion L. Steele High School in Amherst.
She worked at Joseph & Feiss Clothiers, Giant Eagle, Mary Ann’s Pizza, Kohl’s, Lowe’s and Apples.
Anita was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Amherst. She enjoyed gardening, arranging flowers, being outdoors, going to Pelee Island, canning and cooking.
She is survived by her mother Martha A Meyer (nee Delkus) of Lorain, sister Ann Marie Meyer of Lorain, longtime companion Scott Cameron of South Amherst and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her father David L. Meyer in 1985.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00 am until the time of funeral services at noon at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain. The Rev. Michael Denk, associate pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Amherst, will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Amherst.
