Delores J. Craig, 84, Devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother
Delores J. Craig, 84, (nee Broyles) of Lorain passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at the Pine Valley Care Center in Brecksville following a long illness.
Mrs. Craig was born in Lorain on June 7, 1930, the daughter of the late Millard and Clara (nee Chambers) Broyles. She was a 1947 graduate of Lorain High School.
She was a member of the former Canadian Legion Drill Team, an avid reader and especially enjoyed feeding the squirrels.
Mrs. Craig is survived by a son, Donald D. Craig of Lorain, daughters Kathy (Mike) Proskurenko of Elyria, Karen Lewis of Houston, TX, 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild and a sister June Todd, of Michigan City, IN.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Walter N. Craig on Sept 3, 1977.
Funeral services will be private. The Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain is handling the arrangements.
