Michael J. Masterson, 64, Avid Cleveland Indians Fan
Michael J. Masterson, 64, of Vermilion formerly of Lorain passed away Sunday, October 19, 2014 at his home following a long illness.
Mr. Masterson was born in Lorain on April 9, 1950, the son of the late John Jr. and Mary Catherine (nee Amy) Masterson. He was a 1969 graduate of Lorain High School and a member of Faith United Methodist Church. He was an avid Cleveland Indians Fan, along with following the the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns.
He had been employed at the Lorain Journal and Murray Ridge Production Center.
Mr. Masterson is survived by a sister Deborah Grasse of Mesa, Arizona, brothers John M (Mary) Masterson of Sandusky, Thomas A (Tennie) Masterson, of Louisville and one niece and several nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister.
Friends may call on Sunday, October 26, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. until services at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
Burial will be private in Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery Amherst Township.
