Grace Mae Day-Rose, 81, Enjoyed Puzzles & Puzzle Books

Grace was born in Lorain on February 26, 1933 and had been a resident of New Russia Township for the past twenty-five years; she had previously been a resident of Vermilion.

In her free time she enjoyed the challenges of puzzles and puzzle books. She was also a fan of television games shows and Court TV.

She is survived by her daughter Grace M. “Gaye” Day and adopted daughter Cherry Teague both residing in New Russia Township, along with sisters Crystal S. Hynes of Lorain and Bluette Jackson of Wadsworth.

Grace was preceded in death by her father Harry Day, Sr., by her mother Grace I. Day (nee Peters), and by brothers Evert Day and Harry Day, Jr.

Visitation will be Friday November 7th from 4 until 8 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Avenue, Lorain. Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral chapel; burial will follow in New Russia Township Cemetery.
