Her family moved to Lorain for work and to help with the rebuilding of the city following the Tornado of 1924. While her siblings relocated to Arizona, she remained a life-long resident of Lorain, graduating from Lorain High School Class of 1939-B.

She leaves behind her nine children, along with 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren, to cherish a life time of beautiful memories and all that she gave to her family.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Charles Wyatt and Robert Wyatt.
In addition to all that encompasses raising nine children as a single parent, she was an avid gardener and enjoyed baking, sewing, family dinners and get togethers with all her children and grandchildren. As if that were not enough, her life also included several careers at the former Ridge Tool Company, Lorain City Schools, and retirement from the former Lorain Community Hospital.
A memorial service will be held at Lorain Lighthouse United Methodist Church, 3015 Meister Road, Lorain on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 1:00 p.m with Rev. Lisa Morrison, associate pastor, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, her children suggest contributions be made in her memory to the Lorain County Friendship APL, 8303 Murray Ridge Road, Elyria, OH 44035 or the Cleveland Area Chapter Alzheimer's Association, 23215 Commerce Park, Ste 300, Beachwood, OH 44122.
