Emilia Crespo Ruiz, 83, Had a Passion for Cooking

She was born in Rincon, Puerto Rico on May 15, 1931. She had a passion for cooking and maintaining her rose bushes and her vegetable garden. Emilia also loved spending her time with her family, grandchildren, great grandchildren and close friends too.

She will be dearly missed by her daughters Nancy (Pete) Pagan, Passaic, New Jersey, Erminia (Tony) Arroyo, Lorain and son Paul Jr. (Irma) Ruiz, Lorain; grandchildren Charlene Pagan, North Ridgeville, Michelle Arroyo, Downingtown, PA, Ivette Arroyo, Phoenix, AZ, Daniel Rivera, Cleveland, Paul III Ruiz, North Ridgeville and Melissa Ruiz, Lorain; great grandchildren Devin and Charlize Oasis, Nino Rentas, Sienna and Cruz Rodriguez, Victoria and Danny Rivera, Mercian, Andrew and Jaden Ruiz, Marell Mitchell.

Emilia was preceded in death by her love of her life Pablo Ruiz, 2003.

Her family will receive friends Monday from 10:30 AM until 11:30 AM time of her funeral service in Sacred Heart Chapel, 4301 Pearl Avenue, Lorain. Juan “Rocky” Ortiz deacon will officiate. Emilia will be buried on Cementerio Municipal, Rincon.
