Sandra L. Fritsch, 71, Will Be Deeply Missed

Sandra L. Fritsch, 71, (nee Paffume) passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at the Mercy-New Life Hospice Center at St. Joseph in Lorain following a long illness.

Mrs. Fritsch was born in Lorain on May 12, 1943, the daughter of the late Anthony and Mildred (nee Baker) Paffume. She graduated from Lorain High School with the Class of 1961. She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Church of St. Peter Catholic Church in Lorain and a lifetime member of Veterans Of Foreign Wars, Auxiliary in Amherst.

Mrs. Fritsch enjoyed visiting different casinos.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Edward F. Fritsch, son Edward A. (Heather) Fritsch of PeWee Valley, KY, grandchildren, Alexa Laviena, Tyler Fritsch, great grandchildren, Fiona Jenkins, Farrah Dennis and a sister Karen (Jack) Shawver of Lorain.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Richard Paffume on August 20, 2014.

Friends may call on Sunday, December 28, 2014 from 4-7 p.m., closing prayers at 7:00 p.m. in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain.

Services and burial will be at a later date.
The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to the Mercy-New Life Hospice, c/o Mercy Foundation, 3600 Kolbe Road, Lorain.
