Barbara S. Church, 71, Beloved Grandmother

Mrs. Church was born in Lowmansville, KY on July 3, 1943, the daughter of the late Hercie and Verna A (nee Davis). She attended North Lake Baptist Church in South Amherst; where she sang with the choir.

She was employed as a food service assistant with Community Health Partners Hospital in Lorain, with 42 years of service, retiring in 2007. She enjoyed shopping with her granddaughters.

Mrs. Church is survived by her daughter Lisa G. Stover of Lorain and her loving granddaughters Jordan and Lauryn Stover.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Enis Church in 2007, a sister Elizabeth Phillips, and brother James Vanhoose.

Friends may call Monday, December 29, 2014 from 4-8 p.m. in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain.

The family will again receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until services at 1:00 p.m. at the Walnut Grove Freewill Baptist Church, 57 Walnut Grove Road, Ulysses, KY. Officiating will be the Rev. Jimmy Vanhoose and Rev. Willy Gene Hayes.

Burial will be in the Vanhoose Family Cemetery, Louisa, KY.
