Dorothy F. Tusko, 86, Enjoyed Baking and Sewing

Dorothy F. “Dotty” Tusko, (nee Kozarich), age 86, of Lorain, passed away on the morning of December 26, 2014.

Born in Lorain on March 10, 1928, Dotty was graduate of Lorain High School and a life-long resident of the city.

She was employed in the circulation department of the Lorain Journal from 1945 through 1947. She subsequently enrolled in the St. Joseph Hospital School of Practical Nursing. Following her certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse she was employed by St. Joseph Hospital. Later, she worked in the private medical practices of Dr. Henry Marsico as well as with Walker, Stuart, and Karney Associates in Dermatology.

A parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Mrs. Tusko enjoyed sewing, baking, and collecting ceramics in her free time.

Survivors include her husband of sixty-eight years Paul and her son Don Tusko residing in Lancaster, California. She was preceded in death by her parents Michael and Mary Kozarich along with her sister Mildred Moyer.

Friends may call Monday December 29th from 9:00 a.m. until the time of her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 1305 East Erie Avenue. Reverend Richard Hudak, pastor of the parish will officiate. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
