Jeffrey Thomas Carpmail, 58, U.S. Navy Veteran

He was born on July 1, 1956 in Lorain. He was the son of the Norman D. Becker of Lorain and Mary E. "Elaine" (nee Tuffered) Carpmail Kouba of Lorain.

Mr. Carpmail was a 1974 graduate of Admiral King High School. He served in the United States Navy. He worked as an assembly worker for General Motors in Ypsilanti, MI for 18 years and had worked Safeway Scaffolding in Cleveland.

He enjoyed playing the guitar and harmonica and loved blues music.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Carpmail is survived by his wife Patricia M. (nee Gaughan) Carpmail, a daughter Patricia E. (Steven) Berrios Hough, son Ryan N. (Brandi) Hough all of Vermilion, brothers Craig C. Carpmail of Weston FL and Eric J. (Sheri) Becker of Lorain. He is also survived by grandchildren Ariana Berrios, Michael Hough, Breanna Hough, Alivia Berrios, Abigale Hough, Abel Hough, his aunt Donna Bouvee of Washington and nieces and nephews Christopher Carpmail, Stephen Carpmail, Erica Becker, Taylor Becker and Alec Becker.

Friends may call on Sunday, January 4, 2014 from 12 noon until time of the Celebration of Life at 1:00.pm in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer and Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 West 5th Street, Lorain, Ohio.

Following the Celebration of Life there will be a potluck luncheon at Mutt and Jeff's to celebrate Jeff's life. Pop and coffee will be provided, please bring a covered dish.
