Edward Sterns Powell, Jr., 76, Enjoyed Traveling In His Motor Home

Mr. Powell was born in Butler, PA on May 12, 1938, a son of the late Edward Sterns Powell, Sr. and Pearl (Dick) Powell. He attended Cornerstone United Methodist Church in Elyria.

He was employed as a project manager at US Steel in Lorain, with 36 years of service, retiring in 1997. He enjoyed traveling in his motor home, spending quality time with his family and dancing.

Mr. Powell is survived by his sons Edward (Candy) Powell, Jan Powell and daughter Cheryl (Randy) Ives.
He is also survived by grandchildren Brian and Kiley Powell, McKenzie and Mallory Ives.

He is preceded in death by his wife Audrey H. (nee Kiley) Powell and sisters Dorothy McKinley and Donna Carpenter.

Friends may call Saturday, January 3, 2015 from 11:00 am til time of service at 1:00 pm at the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th St. Lorain, with Pastor Emeritus Evelyn Bonnell officiating.
