Charles Michael Whitlock, 52, Enjoyed Riding & Working on His Motorcycle
Charles Michael “Mike” Whitlock, 52, of Lorain passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, February 24, 2015 in St. John Hospital, Westlake.
He was born April 3, 1962 in Elyria. Mike was a lifelong resident of Lorain.
Mike worked in the construction trade for the Laborers Local Union 758, Lorain for the past 10 years. He enjoyed riding and working on his motorcycle. Mike loved laughter and playing practical jokes.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 32 years Robin (née Keathley) Whitlock; his sons Michael Whitlock (Jessica Burch) of Phoenix, Arizona, Daniel (Brianna) Whitlock and Jason Whitlock (Kaitlyn O’Hara) both of Lorain; sister Helen Whitlock of Lorain and grandchildren Brendan and Amelia Whitlock.
He was preceded in death by his parents Paris and Madeline (née Whitlock) Hunt and his brother Charles Whitlock in 2009.
His family will receive friends Sunday from 3 to 7 PM in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain. His funeral will be Monday in the funeral home at 11 AM. Pastor Samuel Browning of Believer’s Spoken Word Tabernacle, Sheffield Lake will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
