Barbara J. Arroyo, 66, Loving Homemaker and Mother
Barbara J. Arroyo (née Siejak) 66 of Lorain passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2015 in Mercy Regional Medical Center, Lorain following an lengthy illness.
She was born September 26, 1948 in Lorain. Barbara was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Admiral King High School in 1966. She was a loving homemaker and mother. Barbara enjoyed crafts, ceramics, scraping booking, geocaching, and reading.
Barbara was an active member of St. Frances Cabrini Parish, Lorain. She volunteered helping with Public School Religion Classes and in the library of the former St. John School.
She will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 48 years Rafael Ray Arroyo of Lorain; daughters Teresa (Ines Pete) Agosto of Wichita Falls, Texas, Jennifer (Marvin) O’Dell of Mechanicsville, Virginia; son Joseph Rafael (Sol Rodriguez) Arroyo of San Antonio; sisters Phillis White of Elyria and Lucy Wooten of Elyria a brother Wylie Siejak of Lorain and 7 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Margaret (née Clark) Siejak; brother Raymond Siejak and a grandson Trevor Smith.
Her visitation will be private. Her family and friends are invited to Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini Parish, 2143 Homewood Dr. (Grove Ave. and Homewood Dr.) Lorain Ohio. Rev. Father John C. Retar, Pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
Her family suggests memorial contributions to the Saint Frances Cabrini Parish Endowment Fund, 2143 Homewood Dr. Lorain, Ohio 44055.
