Yolanda C. McCartney, 38, Will Be Dearly Missed
Yolanda C. "Yo" McCartney, 38, of Lorain passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain following a long illness.
Ms. McCartney was born in Amherst on May 16, 1976, the daughter of Richard L. and Tina M. (nee Salva) of Lorain, both surviving.
She graduated from Firelands High School, class of 1994 and was a member of the Honors Band. She attended medical assisting classes at the Lorain County J.V.S. She attended Midway Baptist Church. She worked as a medical assistant at North Ohio Heart Center in Westlake.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter Savannah L McCartney of Lorain, a sister Crystal Y. McCartney of Lorain, her maternal grandmother Virginia Thoen of Lorain and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather John Salva and her paternal grandparents Raymond & Emogene McCartney.
Friends may call on Saturday, May 16, 2015 from 9:30 am until services at 11:00 am in the Midway Baptist Church, 41812 Griswold Road, Elyria, Ohio with Senior Pastor Charles Keesee, officiating.
Burial will be private.
