Jane A. Frederick, 86, Avid Bingo Player
Jane A. Frederick, 86, (nee Cartwright) of Lorain passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain following a brief illness.
Mrs. Frederick was born in Lorain on February 12, 1929, the daughter of the late Leland W. and Grace A (nee Muse) Cartwright. She was a graduate of Lorain High School, Class of 1947-A and was a homemaker.
She was a member of Cornerstone United Methodist Church in Elyria and the Mary Circle.
Mrs. Frederick was an avid bingo player, enjoyed Sudoku puzzles, watching the Indians and the Cav's, but most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, William C. Frederick, with whom she celebrated her 61st wedding anniversary on May 1. Also surviving are her daughter Jennifer L. (Edward) Gaynor of Lorain, son Jeff W. (Terri) Frederick of Avon Lake, grandchildren: Janette Mueller, Megan Hoon, Kurt Frederick, Jaclyn Gaynor, Brian Gaynor, 6 great grandchildren and her sister Barbara E Komlosy, of Elyria.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Virginia Cover, brothers Leland W. Cartwright, Jr. and Ronald Coley,
Friends may call on Monday, May 25, 2015 from 4-7 p.m. at the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain.
Funeral Services wil be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Rev. Evelyn Bonnell, pastor emeritus, officiating.
Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
