Thomas Kevin Flynn, 59, Enjoyed Golfing and Bowling

He was born September 9, 1955 in Lorain, Ohio to Leo Anthony and Yolanda Francis (née Briches) Flynn. On May 15, 1999 he married Therese Marguerite (née Woolston) in Overton, Nevada.

Tom grew up in Lorain where he was a great athlete, excelling in Basketball, Baseball and especially bowling. He worked for US Steel in Lorain alongside of his father Leo. After meeting his sweetheart on Christmas Eve of 1995, he relocated to Logandale, Nevada. In their almost 20 years together, Tom never failed to say “I Love You” to Therese. He loved her dearly. Tom fought an almost 6 year battle with cancer, and he was very brave and courageous. Therese fought hard right alongside of him. While living in Logandale, he worked as a bartender at the Oasis Hotel and Casino in Mesquite. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, handicapping horse races and time with friends and family.

Survivors include his wife, Therese of Logandale; two step sons, Brian Payne of Mesquite, NV; Robert Payne of Logandale, NV; two grandchildren, Logan and Kylee; brothers: Michael (Dian) of Lorain,; Emmett (Patricia) of Mesquite, NV; Patrick (Maria) of Mesquite, NV; Larry (Judy) of Avon, and Robert of Las Vegas, NV.

Services and Mass were celebrated Thursday, September 9, 2015 in Logandale. A Memorial Mass will be scheduled in Lorain this December.
