He was born in Cleveland and had resided most of his life in North Ridgeville, although he had lived in Lake Tahoe, Nevada for three years.
A 1996 graduate of Elyria Catholic High School, he when on to study at Lorain County Community College and Ohio University.
A Chef by trade, he worked at several local restaurants including Black River Cafe in Oberlin, Savannah’s in Westlake and most recently at Elyria Country Club.
An Avid Cleveland Sports Fan he also enjoyed golfing, hiking, listening to music and playing his guitar.
Survivors include his mother, Mary L. Fontecchio (nee Crawford), sister Lisa (Bryan) Lime, brother, Stephen (Alexandria) Fontecchio, Grandmother; Mary Crawford, four nieces, one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Jack Fontecchio in 2006.
The family will receive friends Friday from 4-8 PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville where a prayer service will be held 9:30 AM Saturday. Mass of Christian Burial will follow 10 AM Saturday at St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church. Fr. George Vrabel will be the celebrant. Private Burial will take place in St. Peter Cemetery.
